The deal between you and prefire. Early-access draft, pending formal legal review.
Last updated 29 August 2026Draft, pending legal review
Using prefire
prefire reads CS2 demo files and turns them into a call sheet. The Major hub needs no account. Team Scout and Ask need one, and you must be old enough to consent to data processing where you live (at least 16).
Use it to scout and to review. Do not scrape it, resell the sheets, try to break the isolation between accounts, overload it, or use it to harass another player. prefire can suspend an account that does.
Demos you upload
Only upload demos you have the right to analyze. You keep ownership of your demos and sheets. You grant prefire the limited permission it needs to store and process them to build and show you the sheet, and nothing more; see the privacy policy.
A demo contains other players' data. By uploading one you confirm your use of prefire for scouting and match review is a fair basis for processing it, and you will direct any objection from another player to contact@prefire.team.
What is free, and pricing
The Major hub is free, with no login, and is intended to stay that way. Team Scout Squad is a paid subscription for five seats at the price shown on Pricing; a promotional price runs until the date shown next to it. You can cancel at any time and keep every sheet you built.
If pricing on the hub ever changes, accounts created before the change keep their existing free access.
Game assets
Radar images are Valve's assets, redistributed the same way community tools and broadcast overlays do. prefire is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Valve Corporation. Counter-Strike and CS2 are trademarks of Valve.
No warranty
prefire is provided "as is" during early access, without warranties of any kind. The analysis can be wrong or incomplete: it is a scouting aid, not ground truth, and not professional coaching advice. It may change, break, or go offline while it is being built.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, prefire is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for lost data or rank. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law (including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud). Your statutory consumer rights are unaffected.
Ending it
You can stop using prefire and delete your account at any time from Account. prefire may suspend or close an account for a serious or repeated breach of these terms, or if it stops operating the service, with reasonable notice where possible.
Governing law and changes
These terms are governed by the law of the developer's place of establishment in the EU; the specific jurisdiction will be fixed with legal review before public launch. Mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country of residence still apply to you.
When these terms change materially, the date at the top moves and a notice goes on the site before the change takes effect. Continuing to use prefire after that means you accept the new terms.
