Leetify reads your game. prefire reads theirs.
Both start from the same file: the .dem your match writes. What differs is the subject. Leetify counts the player who uploaded it, so you know what to practise. prefire counts the five you are about to play, so your caller knows what to expect. Most teams that buy prefire keep using a stat tracker; the two answer different questions.
What both do
Neither tool watches you play. Both parse the demo file after the match and count what is in the ticks, so nothing here needs an overlay, an injector or anything running while CS2 is open.
- Read a real .dem file: FACEIT, ESEA, a league server or your own match.
- Count kills, deaths, trades, utility and rounds from the ticks rather than from a scoreboard.
- Show the result per map, with the rounds behind the number.
What prefire adds
Everything in prefire is about an opponent, and every claim carries the rounds it was counted from.
- The playbook of the other five: the movement families they run on a map, the utility variants under each one, and how often each won.
- What beat them: the same book from the other side, counted off the teams that took rounds off them.
- Film per counted round: every number on the sheet opens the round it came from, on the radar with the round clock.
- The veto card: one page for the caller - map win rates, what to ban, what to expect.
- Ask their demos: a question in plain words, answered over that team's own rows and drawn on the radar.
- A tier on every claim: counted, derived or read, and a thin-sample refusal below 2 demos instead of a guess.
What Leetify does better
Said plainly, because you will find it out anyway.
- Your own game over time: aim, crosshair placement, preaim and personal trends across months of matches. prefire does not sell a player product today.
- A free tier that most players already use, with an account, a profile and a history that is theirs.
- Reach: a large user base, so your friends are already in it and comparisons are easy.
- A price list you can read yourself: prefire does not quote their prices here, because they change. Check leetify.com for the current one.
What prefire costs
- Trial - $0, 3 demos once. 3 demos of one five on one map give the full read.
- Squad - $9.99 a month, 40 demos a month, 5 seats, 100 questions. $29 for anyone joining after 13 Dec.
- Coach - $99 a month, 300 demos, 12 seats, 400 questions. $149 after 13 Dec.
- The Major hub is free, with no account: every published call sheet of a team at the Major.
The plan limits how many demos you drop, never which teams or maps you get. Every team and map inside a demo gets its sheet.
Choose one, or both
- Choose Leetify if the question is what you should practise this week, and the subject is you.
- Choose prefire if the question is what the five you play on Thursday do on Mirage, and the subject is them.
- Run both if you are a team with a caller: one tells your players what to fix, the other tells your caller what is coming.
The questions that follow
- Do I need my opponent's account? No. You drop a demo you already have; both rosters and the map are read off the file.
- Is this allowed? It reads the demo the game writes, the same file any demo viewer opens. Nothing hooks into CS2, nothing runs while you play.
- What happens to the file? Your .dem file is deleted from our server the moment it's parsed. What stays is the numbers and one replay per round.
- How many demos before a sheet is useful? 2 of the same five on the same map open it, 3 unlock the read. Below that the sheet says thin sample.
