Cookie policy
The short version: prefire sets only the cookies that keep you signed in.
What prefire sets
- Session cookie (
fragiq_session): a signed token that keeps you logged in. HTTP-only,SameSite=Lax, expires after 30 days. - Sign-in transfer cookies: one short-lived value written during a Steam sign-in that remembers the page to return to, and two written only during a FACEIT link to carry the OAuth state and PKCE verifier across the redirect. Deleted the moment sign-in completes.
All of these are strictly necessary for a feature you asked for (signing in), so they do not require a consent banner under the GDPR / ePrivacy rules.
What prefire does not set
No advertising, fingerprinting, or third-party tracking cookies. prefire also stores a few preferences (your last map, your reduced-motion choice) in your browser's local storage; these never leave your device and are not cookies.
Product analytics
prefire records anonymous product-usage events, which screens of a sheet you reach, to see what is working. This is off until you accept the analytics choice shown in a banner on your first visit; nothing is recorded before you do, and declining wipes any identifier already stored.
When enabled, it stores three values in your browser's local storage (not cookies): your consent choice, a random id with no link to your account, and a last-seen timestamp. Events carry no IP address and cannot be tied back to your account. There is no third-party script running in your browser.
Managing cookies
You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings. Blocking the session cookie will sign you out and keep you from signing back in. Questions: contact@prefire.team, or see the privacy policy.
